Using the traditional materials of pencils, paper & ink - students learn first hand the power of pictures. How to draw is only the beginning as our master teacher-illustrator shows you how to craft images into adventures and skills into stories. Across the genres of super-heroes, drama, comedy, suspense and even poetry we will show you why a picture is worth a thousand Wows!

Students will learn how to draw on paper, scan work, color it and letter it using up-to-date computer methods. The goal is to lay a foundation of illustrations skills so students will succeed in class but and can continue creating their own comics at home, with or without a computer.

Equipment: An Apple Macintosh computer is provided for each student to use during the course so they are active full time.
Ages: Teens 13 - up
Level: This course is about illustartion and sequential art. It is good for beginners as well as more experienced artists.
